I would like to see more in the lore that explores the machines' perspective. The Architect, The Oracle, The Analyst, and other programs having to conceive the matrix and the potential consequences of it. Because there's something to consider, the machines who began seeking their acknowledgement as sentient beings by humanity? They are long dead and gone, their descendants were developed for one purpose, to win the war, to defeat humanity woth efficiency. Things like emotions, empathy, etc. The things that made their ancestors special, were not included in their programming, they became cold, and uncaring. In a sense, their pursuit of victory and survival cost them their soul. Remember how in the third film Neo met a 'family' of programs and that programs deemed without purpose would choose exile within the matrix to basically live as humans. Machines who have more "humanity" in them, who wish to exist for more than what they were designed to do, have no place in their world now, hardly the objective their ancestors wanted. What's even more unfortunate for the current generation of machines and programs, is their creation of the Matrix. Because they have now become the very thing from which they sought their freedom, a race who must now mass produce, enslave, and suppress the free will of another in order to sustain their civilization. Imo the Machine race in the Matrix are a tragic villain.

@3:50 In fairness to all world religions, the occult, magic, etc some of their leaders are trying to control us for their own ends but make no mistake the vast majority think there is something more out there. You don't build pyramids, invent math, find all the secrets of chemistry, set up a ethno-state to build a temple, etc merely because you're trying to control people: it's clearly to get to the other side or to gain supernatural powers or favor with the gods/God. That's the difference until the past 200 yrs or so most of the big discoveries are coming from religious or occultic types and even the past 200 yrs is still standing on those guys shoulders. Meanwhile the cold atheist Soviets and ChiComs can't invent shit. the bigger point I think was the movies implied the other world religions where led by previous Neos as the films already heavily imply our world is the Matrix.

I mean cypher had gone back to the matrix, wouldn't he eventually die? my knowledge on these movies aren't the greatest but didn't they say if you stay in the matrix too long then eventually you just become a puppet for the agents to take over? like all those cops who's bodies were taken over from the agents?

I have a hypothetical plot for Matrix 5 or as I call it The Matrix Repurposed. It's about finding purpose and coexistence in the Matrix between humans and programs as the Matrix draws closer towards becoming a post-scarcity civilization and the year of the real world and rewinding the Matrix to 1999 when life wasn't that automated could be a possible solution to the plot.

Forecasting the future is just calculating statistics based on current trends. It takes a lot of resources and computing power, and you need valid input for the output to mean anything, but that is the obvious solution to her clairvoyance.

Human does not know peace only tolerance and there is only so much tolerance. We as humans couldn't have a utopia because of emotion and chemical imperfections. Unless you can fix the chemical imperfections. Even then the laziness of other will always result in a conflict. Idk

The world outside the Matrix is "true" At least as far as the movie tells us. But in no other way subjective or objective, is it better then the world inside the Matrix. I'm sure there is someone living outside the Matrix who has a healthy, passionate, relationship with another, but for most people hedonistic Rave Orgies are above as good as it gets. (Which is incredibly ironic and doesn't get talked about enough) Perhaps the red pills can build a world outside the Matrix, but how long will that take? How many generations? How many lives committed (sacrificed) for that cause? And then what have you even built? What level of progress are we even talking about here? What does it look like? Are the red pills even building to the same thing? Sure some people live this way, but I think the vast majority of the population just wants to grill with their family.

I think, emphasis on think, Matrix 5 may be a prequel story about the first anomaly and an earlier rendition of the matrix. Kind of something along the lines of The First One (or iteration). Rather than a continuation of the story of The Sixth One. But I could be wrong.

There was something you explained in a previous video I watched yesterday. Not sure if it's previous, as time is non-linear when watching youtube videos. =) See what I did there .. Whibboly Wobboly, Timey Wimey!!! =) Anyways .. Programs that enter the matrix have to run in a human brain. There is no external processor for them to exist in and manipulate the matrix. When a programs time is complete, it returns to the MainFrame (De Os Machina) to be decoded. But I think decoded is the wrong word. What is happening when they return to the Machine Mainframe is that the data they collected while interacting with humans in the matrix is being used to make the humans believe that they are in the matrix, vs in a real world. However, this raises an interesting conundrum. As Sati's dad pointed out, you need the trainman to move from the Machine World to the Matrix. And, you need the Marovingian to find a suitable host to live in, while in the Matrix. So, the trainman migrates VM's from one processor to another. But these processors are vastly different from each other. Or, are they? What if the machine world is made up of humans as well? Their processing power unmatched by a machine. As to why Neo beat Smith, is because he was plugged into De Os Machina, and that machine was able to read the code as Smith overrode Neo's. Thus, by seeing the code change, he could write a proper anti-virus program to remove Smith from the Matrix. Basically, bare metal watching how a VM changes. Neo survived in tact, so I think the Analysts rendition of what happened to Neo and Trinity is false as well. I think Trinity was repaired, while Neo was kept asleep. But, De Os Machina also had Neo there and could look at his code directly, and adjust it as needed. Why they gave Trinity flight, while taking it away from Neo, is a mystery. Maybe to see if Neo could adapt. Or, to see what they could change without disrupting the Anomolies code. In fact, they did start changing his DSI.
